Fun in the sun
The festive season was enjoyed by all this past Christmas with the Foster Family Retreat overjoyed to host families once more.
Families like Lucas’ who came for some well deserved summer holiday cheer and much needed rest and rejuvenation.
“To the people running Ronald McDonald House Charties Northern NSW, thank you so much for this wonderful holiday we have enjoyed,” said Lucas.
“We got to go fishing and saw heaps of dolphins, which we never see at home.”
Living with a life-long blood disorder means Lucas needs to be more careful than most, but he doesn’t let it get in the way of enjoying holiday time and, most importantly, making memories with his family.
“I loved the wonderful holiday!” said Lucas’ sister Odette.
“Thank you! I loved seeing dolphins splashing about in the water and going bowling with my family. It was so much fun, even though I came last!”
