Congratulations Club Taree
The Clubs & Community Awards recognise the outstanding social contributions made by clubs in their local communities.
Across Northern NSW, Clubs of all sizes show their support for RMHC Northern NSW and the families in their communities who rely on the support of RMHC while their child is seriously ill or injured.
Club Taree have been proudly involved in this program each of the last 8 years, this year with a record 5 nominations across the 9 categories.
We want to congratulation Club Taree on being awareded the Clubs in Collaboration category for their submission 'Clubs Bleed to Save Lives'. This category recognises the combined efforts of clubs that have rallied together to support their surrounding communities which encompassed efforts from number of local clubs, including Club Old Bar, Club West, Wingham Returned Services Club, Forster Tuncurry Golf Club and Taree Aquatic Club.
"Our community programs form a large part of our identity, and will continue to feature strongly as we work towards the execution of our 10 year plan".
CEO Paul Allan, and Club Taree's team, have been supporting the Family Retreat here in Forster and RMHC Northern NSW for more than 10 years. Over that time they have raised an astonishing amount of money and provided a huge amount of support to help keep families with a seriously ill or injured child who need our support together.
