A Holiday with Perfect Timing
For Rebecca and her family, a holiday by the sea was just what they needed to relax, reconnect, and explore, and it couldn’t have come at a better time.
Earlier this year, Elijah, who has a lifelong health condition, his parents and sister travelled to our Family Retreat in Forster undeterred by the Winter weather and ready to enjoy the natural surrounds and each other’s company.
“We had a fantastic time,” said Rebecca, Elijah’s mum. “It was great for us to be able to
slow down, enjoy the scenery, and spend some time together as a family.”
“My son enjoyed catching his first big fish off the beach, and our daughter loved doing lots of artwork there. We enjoyed being able to see beautiful dolphins, and the view from the Family Retreat was just amazing.”
After enjoying a week by the sea it was announced that their hometown on the Central Coast went into lockdown, which meant homeschool and working from home was on the cards. We’re so happy that Elijah and his family were able to experience their holiday and create precious memories together first.
We are looking forward to welcoming more deserving families like Eljiah’s to enjoy this upcoming holiday season together at our Forster Family Retreat.
