This August, I'm taking part in Ride for Sick Kids and raising crucial funds to help support hundreds of other families with a seriously ill or injured child, like Indi's.
When Indi suddenly became unwell on a weekend away, her family’s world turned upside down.
Diagnosed with leukaemia and facing months of treatment far from home, Ronald McDonald House gave her family more than accommodation—it gave them stability, community, and the strength to face each day together.
Every year, thousands of families with a seriously ill or injured child turn to RMHC Northern NSW to keep them together and close to the vital care they need.
Whether it be through the Ronald McDonald Houses in Newcastle and Tamworth, Family Rooms in John Hunter Children's and Gosford Hospital, Family Retreat in Forster or the Learning Program across Northern NSW - RMHC NNSW is there for families so they can be there for theirs.

🚴♀️ Ride for Sick Kids – Join Our F45 Greenhills Team This August!
This August, we’re proud to support Ronald McDonald House Charities by participating in the Ride for Sick Kids initiative—from our F45 Greenhills studio.
From Sunday 24th to Saturday 30th August, we’ll be racking up kilometres on the bike erg to raise vital funds for families with seriously ill children.
This cause is deeply personal to me. Back in 2017, Andrew and I welcomed premature twins who spent their early days in the NICU at John Hunter Hospital. During that time, we met many families who had travelled far from home to be near their babies. Without the support of Ronald McDonald House, many of them wouldn’t have had the opportunity to stay close during such a critical period. The comfort, care, and connection Ronald McDonald House provided made an incredibly difficult time just a little bit easier.
