Rider Commitments

Fitness & Safety
Riders are expected to have reasonable riding fitness for the ride and to have a high quality road bike and provide their own Australian Standard Helmet.

Sponsorship / Fundraising
You can also make a bigger impact on local families by securing personal sponsors for the ride. In past years those riding have raised on average $2,500 each by getting their family, friends and colleagues to support them.

Kit
For new riders a kit will be provided. If you have previously ridden in Ride for Sick Kids you will already have clothing which you’ll need to bring with you.

Cancellations
If for some reason you need to withdraw from the ride please let us know immediately. If you are withdrawing after 30 June 2024, you will need to pay for your uniform & kit we’ve ordered for you.

Health and Safety
Our priority is the health and safety of our families, volunteers, staff, riders and the broader community.

Riders will need to follow all health and safety requirements during the ride as directed by the RMHC CEO, Ride for Sick Kids Ride Captian/s and Ride for Sick Kids Event Manager.
