Pledge Your Birthday

Make this year’s birthday one to remember

Instead of gifts this year, make an impact by asking for donations to help keep families together.

Celebrating a birthday? Us too!

We’re celebrating 30 years of providing a home away from home for families with a seriously ill or injured child. And we have one birthday wish – to be able to help families for the next 30 years too. Pledge your birthday to help families during their greatest time of need and enjoy those warm and fuzzy feelings when you blow out your birthday candles this year.

Step 1

Why help us make our birthday wish come true

Scarlett pledges her 11th birthday for her sister

This July, Scarlett is pledging her 11th birthday because of her sister Elora.

In July 2018 Scarlett’s little sister, Elora, was diagnosed with ADEM – Acute Disseminated Encephalomyelitis – and admitted to John Hunter Children’s Hospital for treatment. Elora was in hospital for two weeks during which time the family appreciated the support provided by the Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW Family Room.
