Help support me in my Ride for Sick Kids with RMHC® NNSW

This will be my 20th Ride for Sick Kids and as a father of 4 incredible healthy married Kids and a Pop to 5 amazing healthy grandchildren I value this opportunity to give back and support the charity that has been a huge part of our lives for the last 28 years.

Please help me to help the families and children that need to use our Ronald McDonald Houses, Family Rooms, Retreat or Learning Program by sponsoring me this year.

Together we truly can make a real difference in the lives of Sick and injured children and their families

We leave on Monday the 2nd September for Glen Innes and return by push bike to Newcastle on Saturday the 7th September after 500kms of riding.

It’s done for another year

Sunday 8th Sep

Well we arrived back at RMH Newcastle to a beautiful crowd of people we love both family and friends and there is nothing better.

So happy to get everyone home safely as well as raise some major funds for the families and children of Northern NSW.

Very proud of the whole RFSK team from the riders to support crew and our amazing organisers Lisa and Jody 👍🏻.

Massive thanks to our loved ones that gave us up for the week so we could hit the road for the kids.

The 20th ride is done bring on 21 ❤️❤️💪🏻

Day 4 done

Friday 6th Sep

Day 4 is done and it is always a mentally draining day. Scone to Singleton isn’t a long day at 80kms but it is a very busy route with masses of traffic and a challenging road with average edges to ride on.

The team did an amazing job getting us through it safely and it was awesome to arrive at our Hotel early in the afternoon.

Looking forward to arriving at the Ronald McDonald House tomorrow.

Day 3 done

Thursday 5th Sep

We arrived in Scone this afternoon with 350kms of the 520km ride completed. The wind swung around to be a side tail wind and the weather was perfect 👍🏻

We were joined by another one of our amazing families tonight Nikki and her daughter Avi and it was great to see Avi looking so well. This is what the ride is all about making a real difference for families and children across Northern NSW.

First day Glen Innes to Armidale

Tuesday 3rd Sep

Great visit to Glen Innes Public School awesome kids and teachers and raised $780 for the families.

Ride was full on into an icy head wind and climbing up Ben Lomond to Guyra then continuing on to Armidale where we caught up with Chris and Julieanne Rodgers.

The very first ride started at their Restaurant in Inverell in 2005 so some great memories shared.

Tomorrow we head to Tamworth 👍🏻👍🏻

Monday 2nd Sep

Drove out of Giant Newcastle this morning on our way to Glen Innes. The team as always are highly motivated and looking forward to hitting the road tomorrow.

I do see that it is expected to get down to zero degrees tonight though!!
