Help support me in RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids 2023

Thirteen year old Emma, from Redhead, was diagnosed with Leukaemia in July last year.  Just one week after her diagnosis, the family met with Dayle, the Ronald McDonald Learning Program Coordinator who has been supporting Emma, her siblings and the family since.   

Alex, Emma’s mum says “I do not know how I would have navigated Emma’s illness without the support of Dayle and the Ronald McDonald Learning Program.”

When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness like Emma, it can have a devastating impact on families. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don't live close to the medical care their child needs. 

Help me raise much-needed funds through the Ride for Sick Kids 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️, with your efforts making an impact on the lives of children like Emma.

We're fundraising to help sick kids and need your help!

Every year Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW help thousands of families who have sick or injured kids from across the state, either with accommodation close to John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle or Tamworth Hospital, with family rooms in the John Hunter Children's Hospital (both outside J1 and within the NICU) and at Gosford Hospital, a week's holiday at the Family Retreat in Forster or with educational support through the Learning Program. It is only with the support of the community that it is possible to provide the help that is needed. I'm trying to ride over 500km this month and ride every day to raise funds and awareness for this amazing charity. If you can help, it'd be really appreciated.
