Happy Birthday Hugo
Thursday the 13th October is Hugo's 10th birthday. We would like to Celebrate his birthday by giving to Ronald McDonald House to help sick kids and their families just like they helped ours 10 years ago.
The family room at John Hunter Hospital provided Jo with breakfast every day while Hugo was on the oncology ward, it also provided a shower and a bed to sleep in after particularly hard nights. We also used the laundry room. In essence that room and its volunteers kept us going while we could not leave the hospital.
Once we got to Sydney we stayed at RMH in Randwick, allowing us to stay close by the hospital and stay together as a family!
RMH allowed us to make memories with the precious months we had with Hugo, they also took away a lot of the stress of taking care of ourselves.
