Help support me in RMHC® Ride for Sick Kids 2023
Thirteen year old Emma, from Redhead, was diagnosed with Leukaemia in July last year. Just one week after her diagnosis, the family met with Dayle, the Ronald McDonald Learning Program Coordinator who has been supporting Emma, her siblings and the family since.
Alex, Emma’s mum says “I do not know how I would have navigated Emma’s illness without the support of Dayle and the Ronald McDonald Learning Program.”
When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness like Emma, it can have a devastating impact on families. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don't live close to the medical care their child needs.

Friday 1st Sep Hi there, my name is Bianca. I work for Newcastle and Hunter Community Health, and they are proudly sponsoring the Ronald McDonald House Newcastle's Ride for Sick Kids NNSW in 2023. In addition to their sponsorship, I am joining the team and will be participating in this year's community ride. I'm honored to be part of the Ronald McDonald House Ride for Sick Kids fundraiser. This cause is close to my heart because my family has personally experienced the challenges of illness. Having witnessed the impact of these struggles, I deeply understand the importance of organizations like Ronald McDonald House that provide essential support to families in need.
