Attend our up & coming event on 9 June 2022 to learn from seasoned professionals how you can capitalise on opportunities in a changing property market.

The late great global investor John Templeton said “The time of maximum pessimism is the best time to buy and the time of maximum optimism is the best time to sell.”  Whilst our Tamworth property market is very resilient, news articles love to create pessimism and our team of experts will guide you through how to capitalise on opportunities as the market shifts.

Topics that will be discussed:

  • Why Property?
  • Property v Stock Market
  • Buying in a shifting market
  • Buying with upside
  • Rental yield v capital growth
  • Doing your research and formulating your offer
  • Negotiation strategies
  • How to start, build & maintain your portfolio
  • Equity vs Cash when it comes to buying
  • Buy & hold Strategy vs Develop & Flip Options
  • Risks in purchasing in property
  • What are the best properties for you to buy?
  • Residential Property vs Commercial Property
  • Where and how do I start!?

Ronald McDonald House is all about family.

When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness or injury, it impacts the whole family. Lives can be turned upside down. That's why Ronald McDonald House Charities Northern NSW provides a range of support and programs to help families from across New England and the North West region stay together and close to the care they need.

The Ronald McDonald House Tamworth is keeping families under the one roof and close to the hospital at no charge. Families often have to travel far from home to receive the medical care their child needs. The Ronald McDonald House provides essential care and support for families, only steps away from the hospital. The House relieves stress for families at a difficult time, both emotional and financial. In 2019 the Houses in Tamworth and Newcastle provided accommodation for more than 680 different families. 409 of those families were from the New England and North West regions.

The Ronald McDonald Family Retreat provides families with holiday accommodation to relax and reconnect. Overlooking the beautiful Wallis Lake in Forster, the Family Retreat gives families with a seriously ill child, or those grieving the loss of a child, the opportunity to take a break and spend some much needed time together.  Families with a seriously ill or injured child often don't have access to money to pay for a getaway so by providing 1 week's accommodation, they can focus on spending precious time together making memories.

The Ronald McDonald Family Rooms in Gosford and Newcastle provide a comfortable place for families to rest and recharge in hospital. Located within the hospital and just moments away from their child's bedside, carers can make a cup of tea or coffee, take a shower, or simply rest. The Ronald McDonald Family Room is free of charge to visiting families saving each family an average of $36 per day. Many families from the New England and North West region who are spending hours in the hospital make use of the Family Room before returning to the House for the night.

The Ronald McDonald Learning Program is helping sick kids catch-up on missed education, making the return to school less stressful. Also, their EDMED program helps ensure teachers are well equipped to support seriously ill children returning to school.

Families have access to this support because of the generosity of the community. Without the help of individuals, business and community groups, Ronald McDonald House wouldn't be able to do what they do. COVID-19 has had a significant impact on their fundraising, and now more than ever, they need your support.
