When a child is diagnosed with a serious illness, it can have a devastating impact on their family. As well as the uncertainty and fear, there’s added stress for families who don’t live close to the medical care their child needs.
We need your support to keep our doors open to families in need 24-hours a day, 365 days a year.

It's more than just a place to stay...
Every day of every month, we're here for families - providing essential services that remove barriers, strengthen families and promote healing when children need healthcare. Our vital programs offer sick kids and their families the opportunity to enjoy everyday family moments, right when they need them most.
Our Ronald McDonald Houses, located in Newcastle and Tamworth, offer a 'home away from home' for families who need to travel far for urgent medical treatment.
Our three Ronald McDonald Family Rooms located in John Hunter Children’s and Gosford Hospitals are a friendly place for families to rest and recharge close to the ward.
Located in Forster, our Ronald McDonald Family Retreat provides families with a seriously ill child, or those grieving the loss of a child, an opportunity to take a break and spend some much needed time together.
And, the Ronald McDonald Learning Program helps school-aged sick kids catch-up on their missed education and stay on top of their school needs
